Refund policy

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

If you place an order electronically through the website you are using, you shall be deemed to have accepted the preliminary information form and the distance sales agreement presented to you. At Section, our priority is to protect consumer satisfaction and rights to the highest degree. At the same time, while observing product safety and fair trade principles, a balanced return and cancellation policy that also aims to prevent misuse is applied. The following conditions have been established in accordance with the applicable legislation, both to prevent our customers from suffering harm and to protect the sustainability of our company.

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (IN DISTANCE SALES)

Pursuant to Law No. 6502 (Turkish Law on the Protection of Consumers), the consumer may, without showing any reason, exercise the right of withdrawal and return products purchased online or remotely within 14 days from the date the product is delivered.

Conditions for the right of withdrawal:

  • The product must be unused, in its own packaging, and the packaging elements must be complete/undamaged.

  • All accessories delivered with the product, the invoice and, if any, promotions/gifts must be sent back complete together with the product.

  • Due to hygiene conditions, products such as in-ear headphones are excluded from returns if their packaging has been opened.

  • All costs in the return process of defective products are covered by us. If the product is not defective and the consumer is merely exercising the right of withdrawal: the return shipping fee is borne by the consumer.

  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to corporate invoices (issued to a company name).

3. RETURN OF PRODUCTS WHOSE PACKAGING HAS BEEN OPENED

Even if the packaging of Section products has been opened, they may be returned under the right of withdrawal, except for products in the hygiene category.

  • Unused,

  • Not operated physically or electronically,

  • In a condition that can be offered for sale again 

the return is accepted. However, if any trace of use is detected on the product, or if it is determined that the product has been used in a technical sense (wear on the product, RGB usage time, sensor activation, software pairing, etc.), the return is rejected.

4. PRODUCTS THAT EXPLICITLY CANNOT BE RETURNED

Returns are not accepted for the following products by law or due to hygiene/damage risk:

  • In-ear headphones (if the packaging has been opened)

  • Software licenses, products with digital activation

  • Software CD, key card, etc. provided with the product

  • Custom-made/customized products

  • Installed modified keyboard parts (switches, keycaps, etc.)

5. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

For products found to be defective at the time of delivery or during use, the consumer has the following rights:

  1. To return the product and receive a refund of its price,

  2. To request a replacement of the product,

  3. To request free repair of the product,

  4. To request a price reduction in proportion to the defect.

In order to evaluate a defective product claim, the product must be inspected and an authorized service report must be obtained.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • An order can be canceled before it moves to the "Being Prepared" stage.

  • If your order is canceled, a refund will be made within 10 business days depending on the payment method.

  • In credit card refunds, the time for banks to complete the transaction may vary.

7. DAMAGE ASSESSMENT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY

If the exterior of the package is damaged at the time of delivery by the courier, without accepting the product, a report should be drawn up and its return requested. Damage notifications made after delivery shall be deemed invalid.

8. CORPORATE INVOICE

If the invoice has been issued to a company/commercial name, the Law on the Protection of Consumers does not apply. In this case, returns and exchanges are entirely at our company's discretion.

9. RETURN ADDRESS AND CONTACT

Your return or exchange requests must be made via the agreement number established with the courier company we have an agreement with.
